Had a great stay in this lovely house. Sharon the owner was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble for her. The house was very well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The bed was super comfy and large and had good linen. The area was really beautiful. There was a gas BBQ outside under a large shaded roof. Lots of beautiful places to visit close to the house. A very calm peaceful experience, much needed! Lots of English channels on the TV if needed. Warm and cosy too. Would have no hesitation booking again.
We felt like we really saw France! Stayed in this beautiful cozy cottage in the countryside, close to everything we wanted to see and do, but quiet and restful at the end of our day. Proprietors Gregoire and Sharon made the stay more memorable than we could have imagined - we HIGHLY recommend the chef-prepared meals and the basket of chocolate croissants each morning.
A lovely home from home gite. We've been twice and booked a third time! The views are fantastic. The owner is very friendly and helpful and she provides excellent accommodation and a great folder of things to see and do. It's a very relaxing place with a lovely garden containing several seating areas and covered BBQ area. Highly recommended.
OUTSTANDING!
We had a fantastic week at La Petite Maison. The cottage itself is perfect, with everything you can possibly need. It is beautifully presented and very comfortable. The views are stunning and gardens are very relaxing. The morning deliveries of bread and pastries, and delicious food prepared by Sharon were the perfect addition to making our holiday relaxing. There are lots of beautiful, interesting places in the surrounding area to visit. We would highly recommend a stay here and also ordering some of Sharon's delicious home made dinners!
Beautifilly renovated and appointed

Everything was meticulously organised, and the home cooked meals offered by Sharon scrumptious - with the added benefit that the cook in your family gets a holiday too.
Rural retreat, tastefully decorated

We could tell La petit Maison had recently been renovated, a stylish interior with thought of providing everything that was needed for our stay.
We were two couples and the layout was ideal offering privacy with plenty of areas to be together. We loved the outside and dined out every evening under the protection of the covered area. Delightful!
A little haven with delightful surroundings

We went to Lucy's Hideaway for a relaxing two week break, and all our expectations were met, and exceeded. The spotless efficiency of this little bolt-hole, the peacefulness of this quiet village, even at harvest time, the lovely surrounding countryside - all topped off by Sharon's superb meals, delivered to the door. We were so reluctant to leave that we made it known to Sharon that had the place not already been booked, we would have stayed another week. Sharon's very pleasant husband, Gregoire, even sent round a couple of beers to help us enjoy the World Cup!
The surrounding region has much to reward exploratory drives - the Abbey at Fontenay, the source of the Seine, the hill villages such as Flavigny (the lunches there at the farmer's collective restaurant, La Grange, and then further south, through the Nuits St George and Beaune areas - like driving through a sommelier's text-book!
We'll be back, bien sure.
Clean, welcoming, well-eqipped

From the moment we stepped into the property we knew we had made an excellent choice. Sharon was friendly and welcoming. The house was immaculately clean and well equipped. A sign of how much we enjoyed our four-day stay is the fact that we are already planning to come back for longer. The location is an excellent centre for touring the area. Totally satisified!
